Beginning of Kingman

Since we've got to Kingman a couple of weeks before Jeremy had to start, we were able to go and see a few things together.

We have been to the pool almost every day and my babies are now much browner.

We have been up to the Hualapai mountain several times.  The kids will get used to hiking.

They thought cactus was amazing at first, but now they are more excited about seeing grass and big trees.

Cool little shelter.

There is an ice cream shop on Route 66 the is fantastic.

Will drank his root beer fastest.  Dad was trying to get every last drop out.

On Jeremy's birthday we went up to Oatman, a little mining town on Route 66.  Cora was terrified of this gunfight, so we went into a little hat shop and bought the kids an inexpensive hat to keep the crazy hot sun off of their heads.  It was 107 degrees!

Getting some relief from the sun in a cool little tunnel.

The burros up there were just turned loose when the mining industry went downhill, and now they still live up there.

This one tried to steal Cora's little cat out of the car.  And maybe some crumbs that were leftover from our trip from Chicago.

Happy birthday to my honey!

This little lady puts all of these things out for a "picnic" everyday.

Typical sunset from our patio.

We went to Las Vegas one day for a house warming party for our friend Rob from Dixie College.  Will thought it was pretty cool to see different characters on the street.

The kids favorite thing was the M&M store and the coca-cola store.

It was another crazy hot day, like 115 degrees hot.  But we waited for the fountains and it was totally worth it.

The kids hanging out in the back of the apartments.  I miss our yard desperately, but this works for now!
