Summer begins...we hope soon at least.

Our aparment's swimming pool has been filled for the past 3 weeks, and each time we go on a walk I look at it longingly.  Well, today there was enough sunshine for about thirty minutes we were able to go and get our feet wet.  Okay, I sat by the pool, but Jeremy and Will had a blast.

Will is pretty good at swimming already, we just have to make sure the water wings stay on.

A couple of other things we were able to do the past few days, play in the sand and go for walks.

Will's favorite thing to do in the sand is to plow his truck through the dirt.

Morning walk with Dad isn't complete without the Batman cape.

It makes me so happy when the weather is warm, we love to be outside!

My boy is 3...

Check it out, my boy is 3.  I took him to his check up and he weighs in at a meager 33 pounds and is 39 inches tall.  Some of his favorite things right now are yellow, blue, somersaults, jumping and climbing on furniture, singing, running, but most of all he likes to build.  Pretty much anything that can be used to build will be in our house.  He is also a huge fan of trucks, superheros, trains and most boyish things (like singing the alphabet in a monster voice).

I made a huge mistake this year and told Will about his birthday about 6 weeks early.  Poor kid, that is a LONG time to wait, but he made it.  We finally drew a cake on the calendar for his birthday and ended up counting down the days almost every day.  So when it was actually his birthday last week, man he was ready!

Opening presents in the morning from Grandma T.

"Off to the rescue!"

We took him to All Aboard Diner, and yup, he's still wearing his cape.

Jeremy and I aren't pros, but his cake turned out pretty cool.

We had some of Will's friends over for cake and ice cream, I think he sang "Happy Birthday" louder than anyone else, it was awesome.

This seems to be the favorite spot in our house for kids to play.

Will with one of his favorite people, Liz.

In the end, it was a very happy day for this little boy.  I don't know what I'd do without this little ray of sunshine of ours, what a cutie.
