So I realize that the 4th of July was over a month ago...but here is our story. Normally we're used to hanging out with the family (both sides) and having them over to our house for a BBQ and some fireworks later on. We just kind of forgot about setting up something to do to celebrate our country's independence. So we decided that we'd go hang out with the crowds. We went to the Balloon Festival in Lisle, which is a town just next door to us. Will loved seeing all of the people and running around with other kids.
It was too windy to have the balloons go up, but Will thought they were pretty cool.
Will and Jeremy enjoying a bucket of fries. Yes, a bucket and man were they delicious.
One of Will's favorite things at the festival.
One of the moments Will was sitting still. He was like a Pied Piper for the kids around us, he started running in circles around our blanket and before we knew it there were quite a few kids just running and playing. It was awesome.
We had a great time, but realized how much we love hanging out with our family and friends. But I'm glad that we live in a country where it is never too late to follow your dreams.
