Festus is old. We're not exactly sure how old because we adopted him they said he was 2 or 3, they weren't exactly sure (what did we expect from people that misspelled his name as Fetus?). We do know that we have had him for 10 years wonderful years. He is my buddy and shadow, and I love this pup. Since we hadn't ever celebrated his birthday, it was definitely time to do so. So we donned some party hats, made some homemade doggie treats and had a party for our favorite pup.
Will helped blow out his candles since Festus isn't a fan of fires.
He was able to enjoy these tasty treats for several days. Will made sure he had one every morning and night until they were gone. Festus usually ignores kids for the most part, but maybe that's why Festus actually likes Will and will listen to him. He knows Will knows where all the treats are and also knows how to scratch his belly just right. Happy birthday Festus!
Festus is also so patient with Livi loving on him!
