We had promised Will that we would go camping this summer, but as summer was starting to draw to a close we realized that it just wasn't going to happen this year. Between illnesses and Jeremy working and going to school, we just didn't have a chance. So, one night we set up the tent and the boys had a campout.
We roasted marshmallows over a fire:
Checked out a star or two:
Then tried to get ready for bed
but not without doing some scary faces first:
This boy was so happy he got to sleep outside. Hopefully we'll do more camping next year and show him how many stars are really out there once we get away from all of the city lights.
