I had no idea how big St. Patrick's Day was in Chicago until we moved here. I thought it was just a day that you wore green and pinched people that weren't wearing green. Here they dye the river and people start getting their drink on at 8:00 in the morning. We haven't ever gone downtown, but decided that with 80 degree weather it was a great day to go. Cora and I stayed home, but Jeremy and Will found our friends the Fluckiger's downtown and ended up hanging out with them.
"Dad, hold me!"
"Dad, I'm still sad!"
I wonder how much dye they use and if they secretly use this as a cover to add stuff to kill the Asian Carp that are such a nuisance.
That Blue Dog still gets to go on adventures.
Cute kiddos.
Will loved riding the train home with his friend Sophie. When he was telling me about his day it sounded like that was his favorite part.
I was so glad they found us! Sophie could not stop talking about the train ride home either. :)
