Blessing Cora

Last Sunday was a big day at our house.  Yes it was the Superbowl, but even better it was Cora's blessing day.  It was a little strange to not have any family in town, seeing as how when we blessed Will everyone was there and there was barely enough room for everyone in the circle.  But we knew that we won't be able to go home for awhile, and after all, Chicago is our home right now, so why not bless her right away?  So Jeremy asked a few of our friends to join in the circle and we blessed her on Feb. 5th.  He said that it was different to have so few people, but that it felt just right.  I'm so glad that he is a worthy priesthood holder and was able to give her such a beautiful blessing.  It's always interesting to me to hear a baby blessing because you don't know much about them yet, but the blessing always gives you a bit of insight into their personality.

When we put Cora in her dress, Will exclaimed,"Oh!  She's an angel!"

I have to agree.
